Charles Duhigg (born 1974 in New Mexico) is a Pulitzer Prize-winning American journalist and author. A graduate of Yale and Harvard Business School, Duhigg spent over a decade as a reporter for the New York Times, where he led the team that won the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Reporting for "The iEconomy," a series examining Apple's global manufacturing practices. His 2012 book, The Power of Habit, distills behavioral science research on how habits form and change into narrative case studies, from Procter & Gamble's marketing to Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps's training, and spent over three years on bestseller lists. He followed it with Smarter Faster Better and, in 2024, Supercommunicators: How to Unlock the Secret Language of Connection. Duhigg now writes for The New Yorker and hosts the podcast How To!
