Travis Baldree (born 1977 in Nacogdoches, Texas) is an American author, audiobook narrator, and video game designer. Before writing fiction, he spent decades in game development, working on titles including Torchlight and Rebel Galaxy, and built a parallel career as a prolific audiobook narrator, notably recording Will Wight's Cradle series. His 2022 debut novel Legends & Lattes, a "cozy fantasy" about an orc barbarian who retires from adventuring to open a coffee shop, grew out of a NaNoWriMo project and became a New York Times bestseller and TikTok sensation after its release, winning the Astounding Award for Best New Writer. Baldree narrates his own audiobook, drawing on his professional narration background, and has continued the Legends & Lattes world with the prequel Bookshops & Bonedust.
