Simon Prebble (born February 13, 1942, in Croydon, England) is a British-American narrator with a career spanning stage, television, and voice-over work before he became one of the audiobook industry's most prolific and decorated voices, recording more than 950 titles since relocating to the United States in 1990. He is one of AudioFile magazine's "Golden Voices" and was named among the magazine's "Best Voices of the Century," with more than 37 AudioFile Earphones Awards, five Publishers Weekly Listen-Up Awards, and fourteen Audie Award finalist nominations, winning an Audie in 2010. Publishers Weekly named him Narrator of the Year in 2006, and Booklist named him its 2010 Voice of Choice.
